Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to secure your assessment booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the assessment.

Deposits are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full card details.

Cancellations, Changes & Rescheduling

Because of the specialised nature of the assessment, it is not always possible to fill an appointment if someone cancels or reschedules. Preparation begins well in advance and includes time spent on administration; allowing clients the time to complete pre-assessment forms and obtain visual assessments; the assessors time reviewing forms, and time contacting outside agencies such as schools or employers. For these reasons, if you cancel your booking the deposit cannot normally be refunded. Genuine emergencies do happen. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your options with compassion and fairness.

When a Refund May Be Given

If the cancelled appointment is re-booked by another client, your deposit will be refunded in full. If, upon reviewing your pre-assessment form, we determine that the appointment is not suitable for you, your deposit will be refunded in full, provided that you complete and return the pre-assessment form within 7 days of making your booking and paying the deposit.

If the Assessor Cancels

If the assessor cancels your appointment for any reason (other than if you have broken the terms), your deposit will be refunded in full.

Outstanding Balances

The remaining fee for your session is due the day of your appointment, an invoice will be provided.

Agreement

By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms of this Payments & Cancellations Policy.
